Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Contact Centre Team as a Customer Service Officer.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, resolving issues, and providing support via various communication channels.

  • Attend to phone-in enquiries and feedback on newspaper and magazine subscriptions, promotions and delivery issues
  • Guide subscribers on digital publications
  • Handle email correspondences
  • Manage customer relationship through effective follow-up and appropriate resolutions
  • Able to interact with customers on digital support channels in a professional and timely manner
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding their queries
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and updates
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin with our Chinese speaking subscribers
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media channels and platforms (such as Facebook, WhatsApp, chat bots)
  • Tech savvy, creative thinking and resilient
Desirable Qualifications

Prior experience in a contact centre or customer-facing role would be highly beneficial, along with relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Customer Service or equivalent.
