Job Title: Assistant Banquet Operations Manager

The role of an Assistant Banquet Operations Manager involves supporting the Banquet Operations Manager in overseeing the smooth execution of banquet functions within and outside the hotel. The primary goal is to deliver exceptional service that meets and exceeds guests' expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and controlling banquet functions, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Review banquet event orders, contact relevant executives, and expedite guest requirements to ensure timely preparation.
  • Attend and supervise all functions held within the hotel, maintaining high standards of service.
  • Brief banquet staff on function requirements, checking preparations to ensure conformance.
  • Liaise with clients regarding special requirements and handle any complaints.
  • Coordinate with the Banquet Operations Manager, Executive Chef, and Catering Sales Manager on event setups and beverage arrangements.
  • Assist in preparing inspection checklists, department reports, and other requested documents.
  • Represent the Banquet Operations Manager at daily F&B briefings as required.
Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of banquet operations and guest service in a hotel environment.
  • Effective operational planning and control skills.
  • Leadership and motivational abilities.
  • Proactive and innovative with in-depth food and beverage, banquet, and market knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual with inspiring people skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure for extended periods.
