Job Title: Reliability Engineer

The reliability engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of equipment and plant systems. This position requires a high degree of technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, review, and carry out predictive maintenance programs aligned with OEM recommendations and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and review equipment life expectancy to ensure maximum performance.
  • Identify and report on plant inefficiencies, proposing solutions for improvement.
  • Design temporary engineering solutions to resolve plant issues efficiently.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a power plant or related industries.
  • Be self-motivated and independent, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Condition Monitoring techniques and Predictive Maintenance tools is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge on gasket replacements and bolt torquing to ensure leak-free joints would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) interfaces with mechanical systems would also be beneficial.

This role demands strong technical expertise, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on ensuring plant reliability and efficiency.
