Tech Support Engineer Role Summary
As a dedicated Tech Support Engineer, you will play a key role in assisting in deployment processes, version control management, and environment analysis. You will possess strong scripting abilities, database knowledge, and a foundation in supporting deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in deploying applications and updates to various environments.
  • Ensure deployment procedures are followed and troubleshoot deployment issues as they arise.
  • Manage and maintain version control repositories (e.g., Git).
  • Assist teams in branching, merging, and managing code versions.
  • Analyze environment configurations and performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for environment improvements.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment and environment management tasks.
  • Write scripts for environment setup, cleanup, and testing.
  • Assist in database configuration, management, and automation.
  • Support data migration, backups, and restores related to environment setups.
  • Provide ongoing support for environment-related issues.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve deployment and environment conflicts.

Foundation Skills:
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environment management best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL, OracleL).
  • Familiarity with deployment processes and tools.
  • Strong foundation in version control systems.
  • Ability to support deployment activities and troubleshoot environment issues.
  • Good Analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
