About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to lead efforts in promoting the growth of new equipment sales in the marine industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local government regulations and company registrations necessary for each product brought to market.
You will be responsible for developing strategic plans to increase sales and revenue, building trusting relationships with key clients, and working closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of sales strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying new market prospects and creating strategic plans for sales growth
- Developing and executing sales and marketing plans to achieve designated financial goals and targets
- Building and preserving a high rate of opportunity conversion through effective connections with decision-makers and influencers
- Cultivating prospective accounts and finding opportunities to create new product categories, market niches, and distribution networks
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An engineering degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as marine, mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the marine industry selling capital equipment
- Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain a strong internal and external network
- Results-oriented and tenacious in pursuing organisational goals
- Ability to work directly with all departments, including product development, marketing, sales, and account management
In return for your expertise and hard work, we offer a competitive salary package, estimated at SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
