Solar Project Coordinator Role Overview
The Solar Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of solar projects from initiation to completion. This position is responsible for coordinating project activities, documentation, compliance, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
  • Support the project manager in planning and scheduling project milestones.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, follow up on outstanding tasks, and update project trackers.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare, compile, and maintain project documentation including engineering design drawings, solar simulation reports, safety documentation, and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company ISO quality standards.
  • Generate regular project progress and status reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in solar or renewable energy projects will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, PVsyst, and project management tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
