Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading construction design and engineering efforts for solar development projects. This includes ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.

You will serve as the technical due diligence lead by reviewing and approving technical drawings, specifications, and calculations prior to final engineering approval. Your technical expertise will also be utilized to provide support during project execution, including troubleshooting and problem-solving of engineering issues.

In addition, you will conduct site visits and inspections to assess project conditions, ensure quality control, and understand project challenges firsthand. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, including engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and operations & maintenance (O&M).

  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to project managers and other team members.

  • Renewable Energy: Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in project coordination or management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
