Job Title: Director, Philanthropic Partnerships

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our philanthropic partnerships efforts. As Director, Philanthropic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and securing funding for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainable Philanthropy Framework: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to engage philanthropic donors and partners, aligning with our organization's mission and goals.
  • Strategy Development: Identify and establish partnerships with corporations, government agencies, trade associations, and SSAs to leverage resources and maximize impact.
  • Sector Development & Advocacy: Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporations, and other stakeholders to increase the giving of Time, Treasure, and Talent.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Donor Management, Insights and Reporting: Develop and maintain an updated donor leads and opportunity pipeline for tracking and reporting on fundraising activities and outcomes.
  • Strategic Communication: Develop compelling messaging and materials to effectively communicate the impact of philanthropic support and partnerships to donors, partners, and the wider community.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of at least 15+ years in customer success, account management, or a related field, including but not limited to fund raising, philanthropy, and social services.
  • High energy, people-oriented leadership & demonstrated track record in successfully leading and scaling a revenue generating team customer facing.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in crafting persuasive proposals and presentations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and complex organisational environment.
  • Commercially astute with strong business acumen and change management experience, coupled with a passion for and keen understanding of social services sector trends and opportunities.
