
Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled culinary leader to spearhead our kitchen operations in Singapore.
The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in traditional and modern Chinese flavors, with a focus on steaming, boiling, and stir-frying techniques.
- Create menus that showcase traditional and modern Chinese flavors
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Evaluate ingredient quality and source suppliers as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Main Responsibilities:
The Executive Culinary Director will be responsible for creating menus that reflect the company's culinary vision. This will involve working closely with the culinary team to develop innovative dishes that showcase traditional and modern Chinese flavors.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This will involve managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
The Executive Culinary Director will work closely with the kitchen staff to evaluate ingredient quality and source suppliers as needed. This will involve conducting regular taste tests and evaluating supplier performance.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This will involve implementing effective cleaning schedules, ensuring proper sanitation procedures, and enforcing health and safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting. They will have a strong knowledge of traditional and modern Chinese cuisine and excellent leadership and team management skills.
The successful candidate will be able to create menus that reflect the company's culinary vision and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. They will also be able to lead and motivate the kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence.
