Sustainable Finance Opportunities

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sustainable finance leader to join our team. As a key member of our Institutional Banking Group, you will play a critical role in originating and structuring innovative financial solutions for clients in hard-to-abate sectors.

  • Originate and execute sustainable finance solutions, including labelled financing, green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and other emerging instruments.
  • Navigate complex taxonomies and regulatory landscapes while maintaining a strong risk lens, incorporating ESG and reputational risk considerations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of proven leadership track record in Sustainable Finance.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degrees in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering are preferred.
  • Strong record and experience of structuring labelled financing and SF frameworks.
  • Robust understanding of labelled Bond and Loan principles and taxonomies.
  • Experience working in financial institutions and/or having in-depth environmental and social due diligence experience are preferred.
  • Strong exposure to 'hard to abate' sectors and relevant clients - ability to carry out ESG due diligence on high-impact transactions in line with best practices, such as the Equator Principles and IFC Performance Standards;
  • Robust understanding of labelled Bond and Loan principles, taxonomies, net-zero/decarbonization pathways.
