KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

This is a critical role with a number of key responsibilities, including:
Implement strategy, operational roadmaps and benchmarking for Eastspring’s global ESG offerings

Partnering with business and support units to co-create and deliver relevant solutions

Stay ahead of changing sustainability landscape, including policies or trends to inform business initiatives

Support and evolve ESG risk oversight in line with regional regulations and guidelines and best practice.

This role will ensure that our work on sustainability delivers business value, and is well implemented in our investment process

Provide thought leadership including supporting Eastspring’s public stance on the topic of ESG

Implement ESG requirements with clients

Support stewardship activities relating to policy development, engagement and proxy voting.

Oversee client and public reporting.

Build effective partnerships both internally and externally, and engage investors, regulators, service providers, industry associations to improve sustainability leadership in market

**REQUIREMENTS**:
At least 5 years in sustainability within a investment context, with minimum of 2 to 4 years in a senior position in an asset manager, asset owner, asset consultant or similar.

Passionate about ESG and Responsible Investment.

Proven understanding of TCFD, ESG rating methodologies and ESG risk management essential.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and process design skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actions that meet business objectives, and able to communicate this optimally to senior partners.

Able to translate complex technical processes into common language messages.

Able to focus on the goal, while paying attention to details on the journey.

Able to lead projects, guide and support team members.

Able to engage partners across all levels.

Inventive and adaptable in uncertainty.

Tertiary qualifications in finance and/or environmental science. CFA charter preferred.

Good relationships with relevant external partners or potential/existing ecosystem partners.
