Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data solutions. As a key member of our maritime intelligence team, you will collaborate with product teams to design, build, and deploy innovative data pipelines, leveraging Python, ETL processes, and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust data ingestion pipelines to extract insights from diverse maritime data sources.
  • Develop containerized applications using Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines for efficient and scalable workflows.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, AWS) to provision resources, ensure system uptime, and optimize performance.
  • Partner with product teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions, contributing to technical strategy and product roadmaps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, API development, or building data-driven AI solutions at scale.
  • Expertise in Python, R, Bash, and proficiency in database management with strong SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and Kubernetes environments.
