Senior Maritime VSAT Systems Specialist

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
As a Senior Maritime VSAT Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of VSAT systems. Your key responsibilities include:
- Installing maritime email systems to enable remote communication with crew and vessels
- Setting up PCs and basic local area networks to ensure seamless connectivity
- Maintenance and repair of VSAT systems on various vessels and equipment
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent IT knowledge, including setup and configuration of PCs, LANs, and WiFi routers
- Experience with VSAT systems and their applications in the maritime industry
- Able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good coordination skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Fluent English language skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Key qualifications include:
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills
