Maritime VSAT Engineer Leader

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the installation and repair of maritime VSAT systems, as well as setting up PCs and basic local area networks. You will also be required to install maritime email systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure and troubleshoot VSAT equipment and related infrastructure
  • Ensure the availability and performance of VSAT services
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Develop and implement best practices for VSAT system maintenance and repair
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address technical issues
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • IT knowledge with the ability to set up PCs, LANs, WiFi routers and email installations
  • VSAT knowledge with experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting VSAT equipment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
