Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Strategy
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for SAP implementation projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
Team Leadership and Management
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Manage project resources, including staffing, budgeting, and vendor management.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business sponsors, steering committee members, and executive leadership.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their engagement and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution
  • Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
  • Proactively manage project risks and issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor project performance and take corrective action as necessary to keep the project on track.
Quality Assurance and Governance
  • Establish project governance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and quality assurance assessments to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP implementation projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale SAP projects, including full lifecycle implementations and upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP implementation methodologies, such as ASAP or Activate.
  • Knowledge of SAP modules and technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-cultural environment.
