Swim Coach Job Description

Epic Swim is a leading provider of high-quality swimming instruction that develops essential motor skills, coordination and athletic abilities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about educating children through sports.

We offer a unique opportunity to coach Swim PE classes and Learn to Swim classes to children aged 3 and above. You will report to the General Manager and be part of our team of coaches.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Cover learn-to-swim lessons in accordance with our curriculum
  • Cover swim physical education lessons in accordance with our curriculum
  • Attend Epic Swim's training program and work closely with senior coaches before coaching independently
  • Provide timely feedback to parents on their child's progress and keep a record of student logs
  • Regularly attend workshops and courses to improve coaching skills
  • Complete administrative tasks related to the program, including meeting entries, attendance reports, student performance tracking, and workshop minutes
  • Maintain a professional image as an ambassador of the Epic Swim brand
  • Participate actively in our community of coaches
Requirements
  • Passion for sports, with swimming experience preferred but not required (all training will be provided)
  • Ability to teach young children while ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Demonstrated team player with an open mindset to learning and improvement
  • Excellent English language skills and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to attending Epic Swim's in-house training program and fulfilling 60 hours of coaching practical attachment
