Job Title: Rotating Equipment Engineer

 

Key Responsibilities of the Job:
  • Ensure that all rotating equipment and systems are installed and maintained in accordance with recognized good engineering practices.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective maintenance and reliability activities.
  • Partner with the Rotating Lead to establish and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate and participate in refinery safety programs.
  • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of the site Reliability Strategy.
  • Develop strategies to enhance asset integrity, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Provide technical support and authority for Rotating Equipment.
  • Manage RE projects, including achieving objectives in Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE), quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Recommend modifications or improvements for execution by project or field maintenance.
  • Work with the Maintenance team to eliminate RE bad actors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in a Refinery and Petrochemical process technical environment.
  • At least 10 years focused on Rotating Equipment.
  • Essential prior experience in Turnarounds (TAs), projects, and maintenance execution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Rotating Equipment petrochemical standards, including ASME and API.
