**Job Title:** Production Engineer

About the Role:

  • To ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime, we are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our team.
  • This role will involve maintaining and improving systems for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) master plans and schedules, as well as planning equipment capacity and resources based on business projections.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in handling Dicing, Die Attach, Wire Bonding, or Molding, Testing machines and be proficient in problem-solving, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess independent working skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 QEMS implementation, as well as familiar with Total Productive Maintenance, MTBF, and MTTR principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve systems for TPM master plans and schedules.
  • Plan equipment capacity and resources based on business projections.
  • Define and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operational problems.
  • Support new equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Lead projects covering modifications and enhancements to manufacturing equipment.
  • Benchmark equipment for technology advancement.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, Safety programs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in handling Dicing, Die Attach, Wire Bonding, or Molding, Testing machines.
  • Experience in IC assembly is an advantage.
  • Good problem-solving, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Independent and responsible to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 QEMS implementation.
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance, MTBF, and MTTR principles.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
