Equipment Performance Optimization Expert

We are seeking a skilled Production Equipment Specialist to join our operations team. As a key member, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits to enhance equipment performance and drive continuous improvement programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and implement new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits to improve equipment performance.
- Develop and maintain equipment maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Collaborate with process owners to develop, prioritize, and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability, and find solutions to ongoing problems.
- Serve as the liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel.
- Interact with process owners and tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements.
- Compile reports summarizing equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects.
Requirements:
- BSc or BEng in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.
- Good experience in cleanroom wafer fabs is desired.
- Relevant internship experience or prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage.
- Ability to work on non-standard working hours, including compressed and 12-hour night shifts.
- Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and simple code writing is desired.
