Job Description:
">- We are seeking a Senior Assistant Manager/Manager, Leasing to join our team at NTU's main campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing and leasing of offices, F&B and retail outlets, Childcare Centre, Medical Centre, among others on the NTU main campus.
- The Senior Asst Manager/Manager, Leasing is also involved in preparation of lease agreements, licence, and service agreements and finding the right tenants for units available for lease.
- Key responsibilities include developing and implementing leasing strategies, supervising the depository for leases, conducting site visits, and providing guidance to the leasing team.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 7-8 years of experience in leasing and preparing lease agreements for commercial leases and F&B functions, preferably in a diverse F&B, hospitality and event environment.
- Familiarity with planning of retail layout, strategising trade mix planning in a commercial environment, coupled with the ability to articulate shop front and shop layout planning is essential.
- Able to lead tenancy related processes and lease / license agreements (involving legal terms) is crucial.
- Approachable, enjoy conversations in lease negotiations, with good communication skills, both verbal and written, is necessary.
- A team leader with critical thinking skills to find suitable solutions or recommend appropriate course of actions for resolution of issues is vital.
- A deep understanding and appreciation of customers' needs and experience in a university setting is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications particularly Excel, Words and PowerPoint is expected.
Requirements:
">- Degree in Real Estate Business, Building or related fields is required.
- Extensive relevant experience may be considered for Diploma holders.
- Meticulousness in preparing agreements and with an eye for details is essential.
- Creative and enjoy strategising rental structures and reviewing key numbers on standard sheets is required.
- Able to move around the campus to understand issues and challenges faced by tenants and stakeholders on the ground is necessary.
