Maritime Commercial Operations Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial operations for owned and third-party fleet trading worldwide.
  • Post fixture management, including freight/hire payables and receivables, laytime calculations, and vessel performance reviews.
  • Optimize voyages to maximize revenue.
  • Handle bunker procurement and management.
  • Update voyage data on digital platforms and generate routine reports on vessels' commercial performance.
  • Coordinate with external parties to expedite voyages efficiently.
  • Review Port Disbursement Accounts (DAs).
  • Maintain basic understanding of insurance and claim handling.
  • Effectively manage all voyage-related invoices.

Requirements:

  • Minimally a Degree in Maritime/Business or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Candidates with relevant Degree without experience are welcome.
  • Possess strong administrative, planning, and implementation skills.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English with excellent writing skills to communicate with external parties.
  • Bulk carrier experience is required.
