Job Role Overview

Service Delivery Manager

The Service Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless support for medium-scale maintenance projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading health checks, application monitoring, and resolving customer queries.
  • Guiding junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Project Delivery Expectations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for support-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with support teams and customers to review transition plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Evaluate service tasks and deliverables against quality and service level standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews of services (SLAs and KPIs) to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Program Director / Delivery Lead.
  • Review and approve service requests, schedules, risk plans, and resource requirements.
  • Forecast and plan resources to meet project demands.
  • Maintain accurate project health status reports.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and technical teams to ensure smooth Business As Usual (BAU) support.
  • Promote effective communication on service delivery through regular updates.
