Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Assembly Engineer to lead our team of experts in driving high-performance development and leading critical projects.

  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve high performance and continuous improvement in laser/fiber assembly processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt preferred).
  • Plan and manage projects to meet schedule targets.
  • Oversee task planning, prioritize critical activities, and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Implement engineering controls and training to achieve a zero-incident safety culture, including laser safety risk assessments and audits.
  • Own the product lifecycle, including RFQ management in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to meet customer requirements.
Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of lean principles and six sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members.
