Hotel Operations Manager

">Description:
  • To ensure effective management of departments within the hotel's scope, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Foster open communication between the department and other operating departments, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Utilize staff effectively by delegating tasks efficiently, maximizing productivity and minimizing waste.
  • Develop standardized procedures for daily operations, ensuring consistency and quality across all areas.
  • Maintain high standards by regularly inspecting work performance and providing constructive feedback to staff.
  • Supervise, guide, schedule, discipline, and evaluate all staff members within designated responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform physical inventories to verify stock levels and maintain optimal inventory management.
  • Oversee laundry operations and review procedures periodically to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Host regular meetings with staff to discuss performance, goals, and challenges.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide honest feedback on their progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of Housekeeping experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Diploma in Housekeeping Services from Shatec or equivalent institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of Housekeeping functions in a hospitality setting.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in team or group environments.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask and possess strong leadership abilities.
