Job Overview

The role of Regional Tax Manager encompasses driving strategic tax planning and compliance across Asia-Pacific markets. The ideal candidate will oversee the regional tax agenda, ensuring full compliance with evolving transfer pricing policies and country-specific tax regulations across APAC.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies to minimize risk and optimize tax efficiency.
  • Lead proactive tax planning initiatives tied to market entry, supply chain optimization, and legislative changes.
  • Collaborate on regional intercompany transactions, forecasting, and budgeting for tax-related matters.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven tax incentive projects.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accountancy or a related field; professional certifications (ISCA, ACCA, CPA) are advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of tax experience, preferably starting in a Big 4 firm and progressing into a commercial, regional role.
  • Proven expertise in digital tax tools or tax portal implementations.
  • Strong working knowledge of BEPS principles, regional tax laws, and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within the manufacturing sector and exposure to multinational operations across Asia-Pacific.
