Singapore AP Executive Full time

We are seeking a Director/Vice President, Tax to join a leading global alternative asset manager in Singapore, where you will play a key role in overseeing tax compliance, reporting, and transfer pricing documentation across multiple jurisdictions in Asia. This position will be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax compliance with a focus on Singapore tax filings, preparation and review of tax provisions, deferred taxes and disclosures, as well as ensuring compliance with fund tax incentive schemes and cross-border reporting requirements. The role involves providing tax support for corporate entities and investment vehicles across diverse businesses such as real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, private equity, and credit. You will coordinate with internal teams across finance, legal, compliance, fund management, and corporate secretarial functions while also liaising with external advisors, auditors, regulators, and tax authorities. Key responsibilities include monitoring changes in tax laws, managing external tax advisors, handling tax audits and inquiries, implementing tax planning projects, and supporting the integration of acquisitions into tax processes. This position requires a minimum of 8 years of tax experience in the region, preferably gained within a Big 4 accounting/tax firm or the asset management industry, along with in-depth knowledge of Singapore tax legislation, fund tax incentive schemes, and a good understanding of cross-border tax regimes in Asia. Strong project management skills, the ability to handle complex assignments efficiently, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and high attention to detail are essential.
