Job Title: Large-Scale Water Reclamation Plant Design Engineer

As a key member of the Electrical and Power System Design team, you will be responsible for designing large-scale water reclamation plant projects. This includes planning, development, and implementation of complex industrial solutions for next-generation smart water reclamation plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions for water reclamation plant projects.
  • Develop engineering specialisation competencies in electrical systems design, including experience with 66kV systems.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants and stakeholders to ensure that end users' requirements are managed and met within the constraints of the project's timeline.
  • Ensure design compliance with relevant standards and electrical safety regulations, including Singapore Standard SS638.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and review technical matters related to electrical scope of works, including switchgears, transformers, diesel generators, power cables, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop electrical designs while addressing operational requirements, reliability, resiliency, safety, maintainability, future-proofing, and other electrical design considerations.
  • Involve in the design, development, and implementation of smart initiatives for next-generation digital water plants, incorporating digital twinning, automation, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in infrastructure projects or plant design/construction/operations & maintenance work is preferred.
  • Good communication, written and interpersonal skills.
