**Job Summary**
To meet our growing business needs, we are looking for a Senior Water Quality Modeller to join our Modelling and Hydroinformatic Services team in Singapore. As Senior Water Quality Modeller, you will be experienced in a range of Coastal or Inland projects, with demonstrable technical capabilities. You will also feel confident in the supervision of others and working independently where required. You will be working on high profile Coastal and Inland projects, and therefore, we would like you to be highly experienced in undertaking the following key responsibilities.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Undertake water quality modelling for a range of projects and studies such as reclamation, ocean outfalls, aquaculture etc
- Strong data analysis skills and carry out advanced statistical analyses
- Take part in the development of new technologies, methods and tools for water quality studies and contribute to R&D programs
- Specialist technical input to EIA studies and/or coastal engineering/modelling studies. Acts as project supervisor and QA responsible for all types of projects and proposals.
- To assist other divisions in inter-related modelling work
- Prepare reports of completed work and contributes to new technical and financial proposal efforts
- Team leadership and junior mentoring staff
- Manage parts of a project and hence ensure delivery of tasks to the agreed budget, programme and quality

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum of MSc in Environmental Science/Engineering or closely related field is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water quality numerical modelling in a consulting environment.
- Technical experience in marine EIA, reclamation and dredging, ocean outfalls, aquaculture etc (particularly in tropical areas)
- Excellent knowledge of processes affecting water qualities in both coastal and freshwater environment
- Excellent knowledge of numerical modelling including software from DHI (MIKE HD and ECO Lab)
- At least 3yrs of relevant project management experience
- Experience with MATLAB, R, Python or other programming languages
- Experience as a group leader on multidisciplinary projects

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Excellent communication skills
- Good English language skills
- Excellent report writing skills and the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
- Able to pro-actively analyse client needs/requirements and identify and communicate innovative solutions
- Ability to carry out multiple assignments effectively with limited supervision
- Team player with enthusiasm to mentor graduate team members in developing their skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with international clients.
- A flair for innovation, numeracy and the right attitude
- Must be able to work independently and capable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner
