Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing guidance and support to students in a secondary school setting;
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information;

  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to student care;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of two (2) years full-time experience working with children and/or young people in an educational, child protection or counselling environment;
  • A Masters degree in Counselling or a related field from a recognized university;
  • Professional membership or credentials that meet the criteria for professional membership of a state/national counselling association;
  • An awareness or experience in the area of child protection matters;
