Community Champion Job

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Community Champion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for empowering socially disadvantaged low-income families and communities to break the poverty cycle.

This role requires a passion for social work and community development, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with community partners and government agencies to create a safe and caring environment for children and adults in the community.

Additionally, the candidate will provide casework and counseling interventions, asset building with families, and engage in community-centric practices to drive social change.

Requirements:
  • Believe that people and communities have inherent strengths and resources that can be harnessed for family and community improvement.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in social work interventions, social policies, and community engagement.
  • Hold a degree or postgraduate diploma in social work or related disciplines from recognized universities.
  • Be an accredited social worker.
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant social work experience.
