Job Description

This role encompasses the management of internal control functions for Asia Pacific offices, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing tailored internal control systems that meet regional needs.

A key aspect of this position is the review and evaluation of internal controls and compliance procedures to ensure their effectiveness.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Asia Pacific offices in responding to internal audit findings and ensuring timely resolution of action items.

Compliance training and updates are also a critical component of this role, including the development of relevant training materials.

This position requires collaboration with senior leadership to align GRC practices with strategic and regulatory goals.

The individual will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Ongoing risk-based compliance programs and compliance reviews will be conducted by the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate will possess strong advisory skills, providing guidance on regulatory requirements and supporting the implementation of compliance policies.

Maintaining corporate governance standards aligned with industry and regulatory benchmarks is also a critical responsibility.

Finally, this role involves overseeing governance processes to ensure adherence to ethical and corporate responsibility standards.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in internal control, compliance, or risk management is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
