High Availability Database Architect

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to lead our database infrastructure for high-availability applications. If you have hands-on experience with open-source databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MS SQL and are passionate about performance tuning and cloud architecture, we want to hear from you.
- Ensure availability and stability of production databases (including on-call support if needed).
- Drive database design, schema architecture and system documentation.
- Perform SQL tuning, query optimization and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Manage and maintain AWS RDS environments, including backups and patching.
- Oversee disaster recovery and database restore strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce best practices in database design and security.
Key Requirements:
- Min. 3 years' experience as a Database Administrator or Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in Oracle or Amazon RDS.
- Strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL and performance tuning.
- Expertise in monitoring, alerting and proactive troubleshooting.
- Applicants with open-source database experiences (such as PostgreSQL / MySQL / MS SQL) are welcome to apply.
