Mercantile Pacific Asia Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Transformation Leader to drive strategic growth, digital innovation, and organizational excellence. This pivotal role combines expertise in corporate transformation, digital initiatives, and leadership to enhance revenue, margins, and operational efficiency.
About the RoleThis full-time position demands high levels of dedication, often involving six working days per week and frequent international travel to regions such as the UAE, Europe, India, Pakistan, and others. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategy, organizational transformation, IT, and digitalization, combined with significant international exposure.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Revenue Growth and Margin Expansion:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance financial performance.
- Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams.
- Streamline business processes to maximize productivity.
- Establish an organizational structure that empowers significant growth as well as flexibility to enter new markets.
- Promote a corporate culture centered on entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Build expertise in managing large-scale programs and projects.
- Enhance customer awareness of the existing brand.
- Develop marketing strategies for new business areas.
- Leverage IT to streamline and optimize existing business processes.
- Align IT initiatives with organizational goals to support strategic projects.
- Implement systems that provide a single point of truth and end-to-end business visibility.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team to enhance project and portfolio management, data analytics, and business intelligence capabilities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields. A Master's degree (MBA) is strongly preferred.
- Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in strategy, organizational transformation, and digital transformation.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and IT-driven innovation.
- Strong background in program management, business process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- International Experience:
- Significant exposure to working in global environments across multiple continents.
- Familiarity with business practices and cultural nuances in South-East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
- Leadership Skills:
- Exceptional ability to inspire and lead diverse teams across geographies.
- Proven track record of building internal capabilities and promoting entrepreneurial cultures.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, business intelligence tools, and portfolio management.
- Proficiency in implementing integrated data systems for operational transparency.
$150,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
