Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of communication strength and weakness, informing the development of personalized treatment plans.


Design and implement treatment programs that focus on augmentative and alternative communication methods, cognitive-communication strategies, and speech-generating devices.


Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.


Develop and lead educational sessions for family members and caregivers to enhance their understanding of the patient's condition and treatment plan.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or its equivalent
  • Extensive experience working with patients with neurological, developmental, or acquired communication disorders
  • Expertise in assessment and treatment of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
