**Job Description**:
**The Challenges**
- Assess and manage patients referred for speech therapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Comply with clinical and service standards.
- Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Contribute to related clinical research projects.
- Assist in the supervision of speech therapists in the workgroup. (Senior Speech Therapist)
- Assist in the monitoring of key performance indicators of the workgroup. (Senior Speech Therapist)
- Assist in the development and co-ordination of clinical education programmes for speech therapy students. (Senior Speech Therapist)
- Contribute to departmental in-service training programmes, hospital educational talks and external talks / workshops / forums / seminars. (Senior Speech Therapist)

**The Requirements**
- Recognised degree in Speech Therapy and eligible for full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Patient-centredness
- Positive and collaborative team member
- Competent in IT (Microsoft Excel / Word / Powerpoint)
- Experience in conducting instrumental evaluations is strongly preferred
