Job Summary
A full-time speech/language therapist is invited to join our team of speech therapists in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (Singapore). The caseloads will comprise mainly adult patients from varied disciplines, including ICU, neuroscience, geriatric, medical and surgical. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in settings including acute wards, tertiary rehabiliation, slow-stream rehabilitaion, in the community and doing home visits. The department runs weekly videofluoroscopy and FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Examination of Swallowing) clinics and is actively involved in research and teaching.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of adult patients from diverse disciplines (ICU, neuroscience, geriatric, medical and surgical).
Work across multiple settings including acute wards, tertiary rehabilitation, slow-stream rehabilitation, community-based care and home visits.
Participate in departmental activities such as weekly videofluoroscopy and FEES clinics.
Engage in research and teaching activities as part of the department.
Qualifications
Degree in Speech Therapy recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
Commitment to delivering excellent service.
Ability to work well inter-professionally.
Candidates with adult experience and expertise in dysphasia are welcomed.
