About the Role:
As a senior speech therapist at National University Polyclinics, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients in our acute healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will participate in various community services by the rehabilitation department and contribute to quality and clinical improvement initiatives of the hospital. They will diagnose and manage speech, language, voice and swallowing difficulties in adult and geriatrics populations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing comprehensive speech therapy services to patients
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor degree in Speech Therapy with experience in both inpatient and outpatient services. You must be competent in dysphasia assessment and management, have a keen interest and dedication in the rehabilitation of patients, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and have experience with a wide variety of patient groups. Membership in the Singapore Speech Therapy Association is also desirable.
