**Speech Therapist**

The Speech Therapist plays an important role within a multi-disciplinary team by providing communication and swallowing services to adults with mental health needs and/or developmental disorders.
- The Speech Therapist will be expected to:
- Provide communication and/or swallowing assessment and intervention to inpatient and outpatient settings
- Comply with clinical and services standards
- Conduct training and consultation for swallowing and communication within IMH and to community partners
- Contribute to service development across various clinical settings including scoping of clinical need and provision within inpatient and outpatient settings

**The Requirements**
- Recognised degree in Speech Therapy
- Full registration status with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore by date of appointment
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in speech and language therapy
- Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with good work ethics and professionalism
- Ability to work as a team and with external professionals under a challenging environment
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office
