Metal Process Development Specialist

Job Overview:

As a key member of our process development team, you will contribute to ensuring the stability and efficiency of our metal deposition processes. This role is crucial in driving yield improvement and technology development to support next-generation memory products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and sustain PCVD metals deposition processes to achieve high yield and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Analyze process data, inline metrology, and defect trends to identify opportunities for enhancement and ensure process stability.
  • Conduct structured problem-solving to resolve yield and performance issues using DOE, SPC, and FMEA methodologies.
  • Support process transfer and qualification for new tools and technologies in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Work closely with equipment vendors to evaluate and implement new hardware and process capabilities.
  • Document experimental findings, develop best-known methods (BKMs), and present technical insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in thin-film deposition, plasma processes, or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as JMP, Python, MATLAB, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
