Job Summary

  • The Building Drafter role involves the creation, development, and documentation of building models using various techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD and MEP modeling in Revit, with a strong understanding of BIM authoring software.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update 2D and 3D shop drawings, details, and as-built documents for submission to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop Revit families with parameters specific to the project.
  • Evaluate and ensure all drawings meet project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project/A&A Teams on drawing amendments and updates.
  • Support coordinators on design, drawing documentation, drafting, and other matters.

Requirements

  • A relevant certificate, diploma, or degree, or equivalent.
  • Specialist Diploma in BIM (BCA) is an advantage.
  • Working experience in building or civil engineering projects is beneficial.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MEP modeling in Revit.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, design, modeling, technical, planning, or engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM authoring software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks).
  • Able to read and understand working drawings (M&E, architectural, and structural).
  • Able to create Revit families with parameters.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, responsive, and positive.
