Job Title: Deputy Director (Future Capabilities)

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the development and implementation of data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies at the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). As Deputy Director (Future Capabilities), you will be responsible for aligning emerging technologies with the organization's overall business goals and leading a team of data, AI, and RPA engineers to harness the power of technology, driving innovation and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data and AI strategy that supports the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data governance, data architecture, and AI frameworks.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure, ensuring that data pipelines, warehouses, and platforms meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure the proper integration of data systems with other business systems.
  • Drive the development and deployment of AI and machine learning models to solve key business problems and improve decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI and data science trends, and incorporate new technologies where applicable.
  • Lead research and development efforts to explore new applications of AI within the organization.
  • Oversee the creation of advanced analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
  • Develop predictive models to anticipate business trends and inform strategy.
  • Ensure that data analytics efforts are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Partner with various business units to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, operations, and finance teams to support data-driven initiatives.
  • Present insights and data-driven recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Manage the data and AI department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and third-party service agreements related to data and AI services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in data analytics, AI, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience developing and executing data and AI strategies at scale.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
