Job Title:

Restructuring and Forensic Operations Manager

Job Description:

This role involves providing high-level consulting, financial analysis, and modelling skills in areas of financial restructuring and forensic investigations.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify issues affecting business operations and profitability, working as part of a team to resolve issues. They will also be responsible for maximizing business values and realizing assets for the benefit of stakeholders.

In addition, they will analyze records and transactions to gather evidence for litigation support purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of engagements.
  • Assets and inventory checks.
  • Review and analyze books and records.
  • Adjudication of claims by creditors.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Work in a team environment, managing discrete aspects of work streams.
  • Require creativity, resourcefulness, and independent judgement.
  • Be meticulous and analytical.
  • Develop solutions to problems and provide value to clients.
  • Draft sections of reports.
  • Monitor statutory requirements and deadlines.
  • Advise clients in restructuring, insolvency, and litigation support engagements.
  • Participate in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients.
  • Investigate affairs of complaints, analyzing causes of underperformance and business performance of corporate clients for debt restructuring and restoring value for stakeholders.
  • Gather expert evidence and advice in legal proceedings and forensic assignments, including fact finding financial and non-financial reviews.
  • Advise on strategic business decisions, optimizing the balance between risk, available capital, and stakeholder value in a business group.
  • Conduct fraud and other forensic investigations.
  • Use forensic technology and provide litigation support to lawyers in commercial disputes.
  • Winding down the affairs of companies.
