Our organization seeks a highly skilled Regional Training and Talent Development Lead to support the training, education, and development team in the HR department.
The training, education, and development team delivers programs aligned with the company's business strategy, focusing on employee development and organizational impact. The role of Regional Training and Talent Development Lead is crucial in facilitating global programs while engaging regional stakeholders and achieving business objectives.
We emphasize a learning culture that engages employees through interactive events and provides necessary resources for their experience. This includes onboarding, talent management, staff engagement, high-potential programs, and succession planning.
This role requires an individual contributor to work independently and as part of a larger global HR team. Key accountabilities include:
- Developing and delivering global talent and training deliverables, including live and online training, using Train-the-Trainer formats when required.
- Communicating corporate programs and training events, advocating for training and development initiatives, and engaging participants and management in the learning journey.
- Partnering with regional HR leadership to execute global deliverables, reporting success metrics to the training, education, and development team and HR leaders.
- Coordinating and educating regional HR staff to implement global talent and development strategies at the local level.
- Reviewing training programs and content for accuracy and business relevance, suggesting updates and improvements.
Key prerequisites include:
- Training Development and Delivery: Experience delivering presentations in-person or online/virtual for training or education purposes.
- Training Advocate: Building relationships with regional business leaders and HR to advocate current and future training and talent management trends.
- Business Partnership: Foundational knowledge of logistics and supply chain business and industry terms, tying observed issues to performance improvement and strategic goals.
- Global Mindset: Working in global teams, functioning in a team leader role for projects and communication.
Prior experience in training development and delivery, advocacy, and business partnership is essential. Desired qualifications include professional certification from training or talent management associations and completed skills development in relevant courses.
This role requires technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, particularly MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and MS Excel. Preferred skills include CTMS, Succession Planning, Territory Management, Strategy, Selling Skills, Advocate, Content Editing, and Action Oriented.
