About This Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Product Service Technician. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in servicing customer products and ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain knowledge and experience in product design principles, data analysis, and operational cost components.

  • Evaluate and validate customer complaint information, repair history, troubleshooting, and contract entitlement for customer products.
  • Create work instructions, check sheets, or other process documentation to improve productivity and quality standards.
  • Develop familiarity with a larger subset of products and processes, including repair tasks that require specific skills and basic product design principles.
  • Proactively identify areas for quality and/or productivity improvement and work with other departments/colleagues to implement solutions.
  • Possess good knowledge of repair systems and develop the ability to see larger scale trends in terms of product failure modes and repeat repairs.
  • Train associates in basic work assignments and share information with the team regarding new learnings.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: Diploma, ITE Nitec, or Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, or IT.
  • Minimum Work Experience: 1+ years experience.
  • Key Skills and Competencies:
    • Able to work in a team environment.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to follow and understand work instructions.
    • Able to use common hand tools.
    • Able to lift up to 20Kg of weight with the help of equipment.
