Corporate Banking Functional Lead Position

This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering the bank's future-state corporate lending landscape, encompassing bilateral, syndicated, and structured lending.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of corporate lending domain expertise, hands-on experience with FIS ACBS configuration, functional design, implementation, or support, and program coordination capabilities.

  • Lead the corporate lending functional stream within the transformation program, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into system solutions aligned with the transformation roadmap.
  • Define and design target-state processes across the corporate lending lifecycle.
  • Ensure process designs align with risk, regulatory, and business objectives.
  • Translate corporate banking requirements into functional ACBS configurations and specifications.
  • Perform gap analysis between current-state processes and ACBS capabilities.
  • Collaborate with vendors, IT, and integration teams to validate solutions and manage dependencies with surrounding systems.
  • Serve as the functional workstream lead, coordinating across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Track workstream deliverables, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support program governance through regular updates, risk/issue management, and preparation of decision papers for steering committees.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Banking within the Financial Services industry, with a focus on lending and syndicated loans.
  • Hands-on experience with FIS ACBS configuration, functional design, implementation, or support.
  • At least 3 years of experience in core banking/lending transformation programs, including system implementation and migration.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate lending products and familiarity with credit approval processes, covenant monitoring, and collateral management.
  • Demonstrated experience in program/project coordination, ideally within multi-vendor and multi-country transformation environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
