Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lending Functional Lead (Corporate Banking) with deep expertise in FIS ACBS to join our Core Banking Transformation Program. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering the bank's future-state corporate lending landscape, covering bilateral, syndicated, and structured lending as well as trade finance.

The ideal candidate will combine strong domain expertise in corporate lending with hands-on ACBS knowledge and program coordination experience, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into system solutions and delivered successfully within the transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
Domain Leadership
  • Lead the corporate lending functional stream for the transformation program, with a primary focus on ACBS implementation.
  • Define and design target-state processes across the corporate lending lifecycle.
  • Ensure process design aligns with business objectives, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Solution Design & Delivery
  • Translate corporate banking requirements into functional ACBS configurations and specifications.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current-state processes and ACBS capabilities.
  • Collaborate with vendors, IT, and integration teams to validate solutions and manage dependencies with surrounding systems (GL, risk, reporting, digital channels, etc.).
Program & Project Coordination
  • Act as the functional workstream lead and coordination point across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Track deliverables, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support program governance through progress reporting, risk/issue management, and decision-making papers for steering committees.
  • Align with parallel streams (data, migration, integration, testing) to ensure seamless and coordinated delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with stakeholders across corporate banking, risk, compliance, operations, and finance to align requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and forums to capture requirements and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Serve as the trusted SME for ACBS and corporate lending transformation.
Testing & Implementation
  • Define and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for corporate lending functions within ACBS.
  • Support data migration planning, reconciliation, and validation for lending portfolios.
  • Lead cutover activities and ensure smooth post-go-live stabilizati on .
Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Banking within Financial Services, with strong focus on lending and syndicated loans.
  • Hands-on experience with FIS ACBS (configuration, functional design, implementation, or support) – mandatory .
  • 3+ years of experience in core banking/lending transformation programs, including system implementation and migration.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate lending products and familiarity with credit approval, covenant monitoring, and collateral management.
  • Proven program/project coordination experience in multi-vendor, multi-country transformation environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior business and technology leaders.
