Corporate Lawyer
Job Description
As a seasoned corporate lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to drive business growth while ensuring compliance with Singapore laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, client, partnership, employment, and service agreements.
- Advise management on legal risks, corporate governance, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
- Manage regulatory and licensing matters relevant to the company's industry.
- Liaise with external counsel when necessary and manage litigation or dispute resolution processes.
- Assist in company secretarial duties, including preparation for board meetings, filings with ACRA, and maintaining statutory registers.
Requirements:
- LL.B or equivalent legal qualification; No need for Singapore Bar.
- Above 10 years of PQE, ideally with experience in a corporate/commercial law firm or in-house legal team.
- Solid understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
