Job Title: Financial Planning Assistant Manager

Join our team at Careers@Gov and take on a challenging role as a Financial Planning Assistant Manager. In this position, you will be part of the Financial Planning team responsible for ensuring governance and controls for Rail related initiatives/schemes, as well as budgeting and funding matters.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial and funding advisory to LTA Groups to enhance the quality of funding proposals for Rail related initiatives/schemes.
  • Run operations relating to the Railway Sinking Fund and annual reporting of Fund status to senior management.
  • Prioritise funding proposals across LTA and monitor their statuses for reporting to senior management.
  • Partner LTA Groups and contribute to the governance, analysis, and reporting of Rail related initiatives/schemes' budgets and mid-term expenditure projections.
  • Contribute to the drive for continuous improvements by proposing digitalisation initiatives to streamline existing business processes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification, preferably Bachelor of Accountancy/Business Administration/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Preferably 2 or more years of relevant working experience.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and internal controls.
  • Good analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous and a team player.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact across different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data analytics knowledge will be an advantage.
