Job Summary:

The Financial Planning Assistant Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance and controls of Rail related initiatives and schemes. This includes providing financial and funding advisory services to LTA Groups, running operations relating to the Railway Sinking Fund, and prioritizing funding proposals across LTA and monitoring their statuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial and funding advisory services to LTA Groups to enhance the quality of funding proposals for Rail related initiatives and schemes.
  • Run operations relating to the Railway Sinking Fund and annual reporting of Fund status to senior management.
  • Prioritize funding proposals across LTA and monitor their statuses for reporting to senior management.
  • Partner with LTA Groups and contribute to the governance, analysis, and reporting of Rail related initiatives and schemes' budgets and mid-term expenditure projections.
  • Contribute to the drive for continuous improvements by proposing digitalization initiatives to streamline existing business processes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Preferably 2 or more years of relevant working experience.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and internal controls.
  • Good analytical skills, resourcefulness, and a team player.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact across different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data analytics knowledge will be an advantage.
