Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless daily operations. This includes managing staff, maintaining accuracy in POS billing and cash controls, and preparing and tracking budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead by example, guiding your team towards excellence in service delivery, teamwork, and communication.
  • Operational Efficiency: Own daily floor operations, reservations, and table management.
  • Financial Acumen: Prepare and track budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
  • Menu and Beverage Coordination: Collaborate with culinary and beverage leads on menu changes, costing, and pricing.

Requirements (Skills & Experience):
  • 4-6 years' experience in front-of-house leadership in premium dining settings.
  • Proven strength in team leadership, training, rostering, and performance management.
  • Strong grasp of P&L drivers, including sales mix, COGS, labour percentage, and prime cost.
  • Proficiency in POS/reservations systems and MS Excel for reports and scheduling.
  • Wine competency: WSET Level 2 or equivalent; WSET Level 3 preferred.
  • NEA Food Hygiene certification (or obtained within probation).
